Well done Spain, but glad Chile also go through.

I wonder, if England could match the work rate of Chile or Japan or South Korea, how much better would their game be...? Those three sides have been so entertaining to watch. I love their enthusiasm :). The european teams sometimes just look like 'professional' players (which is what they are of course), out there to do a job and bottling in all the pasion.

Hey Nando, if Dev put £50 on an England vs Spain final at the bookies he might win enough to buy your Cheviots if it actually came to it!

    Dev, over to you :D

CPA-12's? Surely they're not going to displace D700's?

I've heard of people using them domestically, and was within a gnat's whisker of trying it myself, but reality kicked in ;).

Mind you they're relatively cheap now, and were very expensive new.....?

    You tell us!!

Edit: Oh yeah, footie. England were crap, deserved to lose. I don't blame Capello, the players never played. I'd struggle to select more than 4 for the next England game, Rooney being the 1st to go. Just too crap to win.

    P.S. Terry needs horse-whipping

P.P.S. How come I didn't read this yesterday, at least I would have known what was to come!

    Hi,

A poor England performance. David James had a very good game, kept the score down. The defence was the worst I have seen in England shirts. There was a lack of wirld class ability, scrub that, there was a general lack of ability.

A number of English players have done very little throughout this world cup. I don't think you can blame it all on Capello. I do think some of the players are not playing for the manager. Some of them just can't do it at this level. It also looks like they have little sprit & can't play together.

Johnson was absolutely useless and the Germans made sure they took full advantage of it too!

    What a shame Lampard!
    James was good today
And for the rest of the team well........
