I'm wondering why I have never seen details for such a service on any of the UK fora I lurk on. Living in Spain, I know of a bloke/shop in Madrid who, say I phone him about an LP by absolutely anyone, say Charlie Musselwhite for example, and he starts to reel off, in real time, if vinyl is available or not, which edition, the Jap audiophile versions etc. and their prices etc, if only CD or whatever. It's just ocurred to me that I haven't seen such a service elsewhere.
