    ...couldn't carry a tune in a bucket.

AND STOP THE MARIAH-ISMS!!! How Leona Lewis has avoided a bitch slap on Miss Carey's side of the pond is beyond me.

How good was Alexandra's second song tonight?

    Who sang the song originally...?

    Once again a travesty

Well to nights result is in my opinion a classic example of racism. Nationalism over talent.

I like Diana but Ruth was vastly better than her and JlS and Eoghan

Great British public show once again they haven't a clue.

Not sorry to see her go personally, I found her consistently dull

    Right decision

    Hi Guys

Finally the right decision. Alexandra was consistent from day one and at least the vote was based on talent this year. Maybe there is hope for this show after all.

    Regards D Louth 77 :)

That Beyonce is a class act.

I really thought Eoinn was going to win based on the screwed up voting demographic that show seems to attract.

Looks like a Leonard Cohen song will be the Christmas No. 1, thanks to this lot ( = Hallelujah)

I hope LC makes lots of money from it.

Couldn't agree more. That said, i thought the performance on the night (of Hallelujah), bouyed by the emotion of the occasion no doubt, was quite special

    Hi Mike,

He should do. The song looks like being No. 1 & 2 in the charts. The Jeff Buckley version is getting released as well. Also Lenoard Cohen's version has also been released.

Leonard has had his retirement fund " misappropriated" by his former manager so he has had to remake his money. These christmas hits will come in handy.

Sony will also be laughing due to having all these artists on their books.
