Disappointingly the sale of this item went tits up so withdrawn from sale untill I decide what to do.

Selling my mint condition Yamaha CD-S 1000

Bought new in Feb this year, comes with the box, manual, remote etc.

Only selling to fund the purchase of a second ATI 5970 so I can quadfire my gaming rig.

£375 and no offers at this price, collection preferred from Redcar but if delivery required then buyer to arrange courier.

As I mentioned I'm after another ATI 5970 so if you have one of these (pref Sapphire) theres a deal to be had.

    Thanks, Mart.

Unfortunately the sale of my Yammie CDP to Nando appears to have gone tits up.

The bank transfer that Nando states he made a week ago last Friday has not appeared in my account, as he stated that he also uses Barclays this payment would certainly not have taken over a week to show up. After repeated pm's and phone messages I have received no response from Nando.

I have been to my bank and had a statement printed to show that no payment has been made and if my integrity is brought into question, I would be happy to meet up with any ZG member who lives local ish to me to verify that no payment has been made.

I will no longer have any further dealings with Nando and would advise caution to those that do.

I apologise to ZG Admin for having to raise this on the forum but I have a spotless trading record both for buying and selling on many forums and I will not have this tarnished by somebody who can't be bothered to send a pm or pick up the phone.

Nando, if you have a genuine reason for not making this payment when you state that you have and for not answering my messages and phone calls, I'd love to hear it.

    Regards, Mart.

    Copy of pm from Nando:

i guess you rung the wrong number and as i said on my last pm i was hospitalised, and i can no longer walkvery far as my spinal chord is totally fused, so i rely in my wife to help me regarding the running of my business deals, i have told you that the phone number you gave me is not available and i still want that cdp, thanks for your comments,
    regards,
    nando.

    Nando

I have just been to the cash machine and had a statement printed "again", you haven't made the payment.

The number I gave you is the number you rang me on to arrange the deal (on the 10th at 22:02, 11th at 13:45, and twice on the 12th at 18:06 and 18:58) and is working fine as we have received calls today, one from another ZG member who will be posting here shortly to state that this is true.

I know the number I have for you is correct as you said that you received a message I left for you at the beginning of the week.

You now state that you have been hospitalised, if thats true then get well soon but somehow I don't believe you.

You said that you made the bank transfer last Friday or Saturday, YOU HAVEN'T.

You still state that you want the CD player, YOU HAVEN'T PAID FOR IT, you tried to get me to agree to send the CD player last Thursday, good job I didn't as YOU HAVEN'T PAID FOR IT.

Do you understand, YOU HAVEN'T PAID FOR IT.

I now trust you about as far as I could drop kick a Range Rover and I will have NO FURTHER DEALINGS WITH YOU.

Once again, apologies to ZG Admin but this needs to be out in the open so that other members are aware of what could happen if they deal with Nando, also once again, I will not have my record of succesful deals with people tarnished by someone telling a pack of lies.

I would just like to personally confirm that Mart is telling the truth here.
I am Marts friend and landlord.
The phome line used is the house phone and no calls have been received from your mobile since the 12th November.
I have also had sight of Marts Account balance and there has not been a payment from you. His statement goes back into October too.
It's a shame it has come to this but things sometime happen.
More care and attention is probably need it in future

    quote,

hi andy, i don't in any way distrust mart, if the case is that he does not belive me, i would gladly give him £200.00 compensation and keep his cdp. it's a shame indeed that there is no trust or belief amongst people, understand that i was going to transfer money in to his a/c and to trust him that i would send a courier to collect it from martt,
    regards,
    nando

I have just received a phone call from Nando on the "unavailable" phone number and he has apologised and admitted that he had not transfered the money for the CD player to my account as he stated he had.

He has offered to send me £200 as compensation for my inconvenience which I have refused, though his offer was very generous, it is completely unnecessary and I am certainly not one to take advantage of people in situations such as this.

I don't fully understand what is going on here but there is obviously something very wrong in Nando's world at the moment and I hope he makes a very speedy and full recovery.

No hard feelings Nando and get well soon.
