Finally I discovered the industry's answer to my desire for accuracy:

    ROTEL RA 1062 !!!

What a fabulous amp! I null test it and... WOW! Almost near silence... Incredible! The ultimate bargain!

A long, long way better than the A1000, Sonneteer Alabaster and Campion (which I also null tested but they couldn't drive the 1K's).

My friends, if this amp doesn't sound good in your systems be sure to look elsewhere in your chain because this amp is as accurate as it (commercially) can be.

    I still don't believe it...

It drives my 1K's with total control and power, I mean real power. What a vivid and ballsy sound... my search is over!

Thank you ROTEL for take me to the MOON! And yes... the ECLIPSE is just beautiful... now I can tell.

    I have a Porsche...

Rotel do make good amps. I still love my RA-01 and that was only £250. :)

I've fitted a phased cloak to her now Mr P, so you can pass through all the shit undetected, which seems rather useful at present

Best not get rid of that rotel now Andy, must be them horrible speakers, as nowrt wrong with your amp, I'd have thought WM wouldn't need a sub what with +28db at 4hz, i can tell wether he's listening to Machine Head or Made in Japan, if I put my ear to the ground.

So that'll be what's technically known as a noise then?

What is it with Portuguese audiophiles? Anyone think it's just a lingual issue?

    Robbo,

You bet... now I can, I'm on the Moon... and I barely can hear you down there discussing pseudo hi-fi and going nuts as earth takes another turn...

My music is too loud and I'm playing my aerospace guitar...

You should see the Eclipse from here... it is so shining.
