.. so its now time to ditch my fame and life for next 10 years. My HIFI is still staying though, it just means that I shall be adjusting my budge to other things.

I'm getting involved in the union at uni so hopefully my furtunes of having nothing better to do other than work and the internet will change.

:) :)

Congratulations!!:MILD:

You might just want to change that 10 to 30 though...or even 40 if you're unlucky....but don't worry about that now...CELEBRATE!!

I think I must have missed the point of this post

to recap...

You're young and (reasonably) healthy

with few serious financial commitments other than a student loan and a passion for music (no mortgage/house insurance/children/alimony to ex-wives to pay)

have a little extra cash from some part time work

you get pissed on two pints and a coke which you can buy at a subsidised rate ( ;) ) from the student uni bar where loads of young and availble women also hang out

...errr...what's the problem again???

Bl**dy hell mate. Get stuck in before you find out what it's like to be a wage slave :JPS:

[You're not listening to old Morrisey LPs are you?? ]

Errr...did I miss the point of this post.... 21 year's old...birthdays, celebrations, champagne, good music, ...
or did I get it 'orribly wrong....?

Well I only go out about twice a month if that on average thats kind of the problem, I just know I am will be kind of person that by the time I am 40 I will never go out like my parents. I don't socialise much at uni as most my course mates dont'

I am trying to setup a society for students that life at home but don't want to miss out on the social life, in practise it is becoming very hard to setup though.

MO- Yes the garlic bread habbit it expensive.

I went out this weekend and it didn't turn out that good for various reasons, basicaly the club had the same playlist as last time and the there were 80% male and 20% female.

well with me being on a 97% male course
Hmm, and I thought I was the only one apparently living in my own male dominated world!!!

Answers - well I'm still looking for them but maybe...

Change the course you're doing to an arts (BA) course, engineering and IT courses tend to be 90%+ male dominated IME. Or at least get yourself into extra cirricular activities which involve socialising with the other (more female dominated) courses.

Now, the 80/20 ratio in the club... How many of the 20% were single then do you reckon? ;) Where have the rest of the female population gone/go to socialise... most of them staying in (with the significant other halfs)??

:D

What!:yikes: Jeez, student life must have really gone down the toilet :newbie: Sorry to be harsh but are you on a course for nerds? Setting up a social group for people who live at home, you've got to be kidding. It's dead simple - look "Fancy a beer after, mate?" "Yep" then after lots of drinking "I'm starving. Wanna get a curry?" "Yep" You must be thinking too hard - all brains and no balls.

Here's an equation ( :guiness: x :guiness: ) + :techno: + :chunder: /:zzzz: = buddies

And a tip for those of you who live at home, make friends with someone in Halls of Residence or who has their own flat. Go out, get wasted then doss on their floor. :D
