About Wadia Miester

Hi Chris

Thanks for volunteering as a tester.

If you're able to commit to the 10th September and you're of the necessary 'type' then please PM Tony for directions etc. The latter requirement has caused some dispute however this is necessary and no offence is meant. ;)

Full details below.

I could probably do it depending on where I have to get too? I think I am free this Saturday...

Ok I think we need to Confirm a date here, I've seen the 10th banded about.
This weekend is going to be a problem at the moment. can we set a date that we can all be ok with please.
cheers Wm

Room for a little one? I hardly take up any space and I am quiet as a mouse!

Well, thank goodness for that. Everyone was being so uncharacteristically nice I naturally assumed you must have died.

- well, there always has to be one nasty one. :D

Wm, just where is this to take place? Mind you, with both AlanBeeb and GaryG on the case I suppose all I should do is empty the wallet!

Bit late in seeing this thread, but yeah Tony is a nice bloke, met him at Isaac bakeoff around this time last year....Tone made me laugh quite a lot, in a good way though :D, and certainly seemed to know his stuff as well...the man seems to have heard a hell of a lot of hifi!

Deserves kudos for offering to host a blind listening experiment with hi-fi power cables including, as I understand, his own. More balls than most.

You're going to conduct a blind testing session with Tony's own kit!!! Put me down for a ticket, I'll bring a camera along to take pictures of people's jaws hitting the floor!

If you wish to volunteer as a tester for the proposed blind listening test please could you state which weekends in September and October you're able to attend on. I'll attempt to collate this information until there are sufficient numbers able to attend on an agreeable date.

Please see here:

I see Tony has suggested four volunteers in addition to the controller/adjudicator. I'm happy to volunteer if you're short on numbers but should point out that I've already done a similar test, (although not blind), with my cables in Tony's system and have now replaced them with Tony's cables.

If my vested interest isn't a problem I can do any Saturday in September or October except the 1st of October, with the proviso that Tony is prepared to give me a refund if I end up picking the standard cable! :o

Yup add one more for WM's a nice guy. Modded my superdac to take RCA plugs and built a psu for me. Both still in use in system, but these days the dacs being used to route the sound from the sky plus box and dvd player :)
