University halls of residence mate - in some ways it is a bit prison cell-esque, nice breeze block walls for one
As for checking the wiring, well truth be told I don't know my way around inside electrical items at all confidently especially when its main voltages, apart from which I haven't got a multimeter or anything here more advanced tool-wise than a philips head screwdriver and some torx tools to use. However I'm going home for a couple of days next week and so I can take it to a sparkies, where as in Aberystwyth theres only one electrician, who refused to even entertain looking at it once I'd properly explained what it was and what it did
