But I do use balanced Apogees between pre and power, so I could bring one to your house, plus the one with Audioquest silver, when you get your new transport... :MILD:

They are all digital cables, but as Apogee says they are good analog too, and I wanted to try balanced, not only to test if there are any differences, but mainly because RCAs are so close toguether in AVs, that the outer sleeves of my WBTs touched each other...

In the end they worked fine, so I returned the Deltecs and kept the WideEyes...

Ah - OK. Then we could do a 3 way test:

    Apogee RCA with Audioquest plugs
    Apogee RCA with Bullets
    Apogee XLR with Neutriks

Since I'm the only one with a transport and DAC that have XLR in/out, when are you coming over Antonio? :D

When you have the Teac ready, then you pop over to compare it in my system... :MILD:

Does your Krell Showcase have XLR digital input? Otherwise we won't be able to compare XLR vs. RCA :)

And in the red corner waving his 'Blue glowing willy' is Mike Brown, weighing in at 8KG's and rather 'Hot' at the Moment the Dac 64
The Blue corner, thrashing his chopper to the wide eyed yank string is Antonio 'bonecrusher' showcase, his willy is rather heaviver, although I feel some what lacking in dynamics compared to 'best ever red book' :D
Sorry I bored, can you believe this I'm doing a Naim I/C :yikes: :newbie: :ffrc: :pRaT: man it's a pain, and Timpys been taking the piss :D I dropped a boo boo, so Had to redesign said item, still all in the pursuit of music. Take out of here No.1

We where only going to compare the TEAC with the FMJ DV27, as you, audiophile guys, say a DVD player can't play music...

But it will be usefull general culture to test the DAC64 too, the problem is that we will loose the subwoofers and room eq, not fair comparison... :p

I think you might be surprised by the Teac T1 (modified of course)...especially if I bring along the Monarchy Upsampler aswell :)

To do the cable testing, we'll have to do that at my place.

I know, it's an unfair advantage to the DAC64, but I'll take that into account :JOEL:

    Keep on dreaming... :JPS:

By the way, test the Apogees as analog ICs...
