    No, I'm not actually, I'm very well endowed with amps and I really don't need any more! I was just curious to see this reference to a B&W amp and wondered what it was.

    (Actually, I like the Audio Analyse with the wondrous heatsinks!)

    B&W made a very intresting piece of kit a few years ago just as a prototype,a room optimisier,it sat between the transport,and a DAC,it sent out test signals through the hifi,and analyses the results that came back through a measuring microphone.It then calculates a digital filter that will give the flattest obtainable response at the posistion of the microphone.
