Easy 15min stroll or take a no.8 bus form Temple meads for £1.10 and get off opposite the Bristol Evening Post building.

    wadia-meister,

interesting comments regarding the linear. i just picked up a soul s15 for at bargain price to see what it was all about. it really is incredible, but not a good match for my Neat MF9's. i thought i'd setup a second system with more efficient speakers, but am not sure that is feasible at the moment. i was told by a friend that if i wanted to sell the soul, i should do it quick because the linear is about to hit the market. no doubt roy g. will jizz all over it in an upcoming review. not only has your comment relieved me of anxiety about the competition, but it actually makes me want to keep the soul!

    U7,
The speakers where the Victory 2's, the one I listened to was the 30 watt(Soul) version, and 2 my ears was far more complete than the Linear, but then I'm a SS man :D
The Linear was very musical & for the size had very good control, and better bass definition (compared to the 140w audio atmospheres), thought not too much groove or power. but pretty good for £4k retail I believe
Its good but I thought the soul better.
I thought you had the 7's or have you upgraded to the 9's?
Anyway I'm sure It'll sell by the shed load, even before everone's fave wine taster gets to review it :D

I had the 7's but have now upgraded to the 9's. i just uncrated them and need to spend some time placing them in my room - a skill i dearly lack (a subtle cry for help!). i also traded my mfs for a second hx1.2 mk.ii, so am looking forward to bi-amping these beasts.
