Burning DVD's

    I've started taking short 5-10min videos using my Canon IXUS60 camera. Picture quality has blown me away to be honest so want to be able to burn the largish files to DVD rather than leaving them on the PC.

    The camera outputs DVI files that is guite large... a 10min video is about 1Gig.

    How do I burn the video onto the laptop DVD burner as a video I can sent to the family to watch on a normal TV (the burner says "CD-RW...DVD Multi Recorder" on the disc draw so assume it can do this).
