cartridges again

    hmm try 'back-cueing' a dynavector, or poss. the shure. I bet it would last 10 seconds.
    are dj carts tougher? suppose so...

    Hi Ian(Data)

    DJ cartridges are a lot tougher. They are designed for back cueing. They have a thicker cantilever.

    There has been a lot of cheap (or fake) shure styli knocking about over the years. These don't always last as long or sound as good.

    Go for a Denon. A cheap cartridge that is good. I have used a DL304 to good effect. Have a look at the cheaper DL103 as well.
