    Ah, Brothers In Arms :)

Once you get past the blatant commercialism of Money For Nothing, the title track is very good but my favourite track on here would be Ride Across The River. Excellent for showing off how good your hifi is :D The Man's Too Strong is very good too.

My favourite Dire Straits album is still Communique though

Yeah - you should have heard our old school band (well, I wasn't in it, but a few mates were) Void's version of "The man's too strong" - a bit of an interesting gig that 'cos the next day (a Friday) we were snowed in - had the weekend in the boarding school and partied hard...

If you think Money For Nothing is commercialised, you should hear how the riff's been used in 1200 Mics' "Acid for nothing" from their "Heroes of the imagination" album - effing blinding - and great fun to lose the plot to on the dancefloor!

Yep - great minds think alike dude - "Angel of mercy" and "news" and "Single handed sailor" and... well- you can TELL it was recorded in the Bahamas due to that lush phat bass sound... Very good album (and even better on vinyl). I also own it on 8track - 1 unsealed copy and 2 still-factory sealed ones!:MILD: :D
