I have used my old universities job shop for this in the past but there is no work at the moment. I want to avoid the job centre and reed as much as possible because there is too many people going for even basic jobs.

I am not too bothered what the work is, I just need to be saving hard and I feel I could still fit in a few more hours.

The problem is I have no retail experience at all and what ever part time job I do should be for just one day a week but upto 10 hours, anything else will affect my business.

I do have spare time in which I can do a second job, but during the week day every often I don't have any time as it is.

Just wondered if anybody had any ideas? An extra £50 a week would be nice:)

try job agencys, waiting tables, bar work, picker / packer. can you drive? given your ambitions i'd be looking for barwork. if you want to hone your sales skills try donating some time to a charity shop and then when you're more confident apply for something that pays.

This is the problem,. I can drive but not legaly, I don't have the right persona to work in a bar (people that look less happy than Morrissey should not work behind bars :D) and I may also keep dropping them :) - A shame really.

I guess packing and packing will be ok if the money is not too bad.

I just need some stabability, my bank account is pretty much like the Tories at the moment, i.e boom and bust :D

if you want to own / run a club one day then you're going to have to know how the business works - one of the best ways is to go and get in at the sharp end. at least then you'll know all the tricks that the bar staff will pull trying to rip you off. a valuable life skill is hiding your true feelings behind a smile.
picking / packing is soul breaking work. imagine packing up frozen chickens for 8 hours a day taking home 45 quid less tax. you'll probably be travelling for an hour or two to get to / from the factory and it'll be shift work so wake up at 4am ready for the days grind. you might luck out and find some it based agency work but even then it's crap pay.
    good luck.

That is the problem and after taking home £45 for two hours work and somthing that you enjoy it does take the mick. The work I did for uni was low pay but the work was good, it was easy and there was plenty of talent around :p:

I am sure I will find somthing :)

I suppose the social element of it is just as important as the money as I am already earning enough according to Maslow's Motivation laws :D

You seem to be making a lot of excuses not to do a bit of hard graft.

If you are not prepared to graft once in a while thats your deal but don't make crappy excuses for it.

You could walk in an agency today and be in a kitchen tomorrow. Easily 45 quid for the day.

If you wanted to work unskilled manual is so easy to find you'd be out there doing it not wasting time on an internet forum.
