Is this another spoof?
It got me looking for 7V listing on Ebay,hence the question.

No such thing as bad advertising eh?

No, sadly this is not a spoof. I'm genuinely selling an ex-dem set of speakers and genuinely thought eBay was the way to do it.

eBay's total incompetance is also genuine.

 

Good publicity stunt.

Well not really. I was planning to put up my "Perfect Crossover" advert to generate some interest and then sell the speakers at a good price. Sod publicity (on this occasion).

 

Just to give you an update (belatedly as I've had no phone line or Internet for a few days)...

eBay have reinstated me once more and have suggested, once more, that I re-list the advert. They also tell me that: "Please note that I have left a note on your account to pre-warn our representatives to take caution in ending listings."

I am thinking about whether I want to try again with eBay or not.

 

Banning is a little harsh, though I did often wonder why somthinhg which looked like Sellfield neclear reprocessing plant kept appearing :eek

I have seen far worse stuff on ebay though such as the same people selling dodgy pirated copies of software and seem to get away with it.
