    Mr. C? Is that you Conspirator? Finally got sick of the petty squabblings on WHF, then? Fed up with advising people the best XXXX to buy for under £xxxxx.

    Trust me, things are a lot more friendly here. At least the rivally is a bit more intelligent and good natured.

    Indeed it is me - good to hear from a familiar forum member!

    I suspect the WHF forum is on it's last legs. I've made a few good friends there, but the moderation SUCKS to say the least (went about 3 days straight last week with no updates...). You're definitely right about two things - the "tell me what to buy for £x" brigade is just plain tedious. I originally registered there to try and combat this way of thinking - little good that did!!!....and the squabbles and personal insults which fly about are tiring in the extreme, and so incredibly unconstructive. What exactly has contributed to the major slump over there I couldn't quite say, but it has happened so here I am.

    I've been reading this forum for a while now actually, only just decided to register the other day - I'm already reasonably familiar with most people here, although they're probably wondering who the hell I am.

    I feel the WHF forum has been poor for a while. A few good posts do pop up, but the MOderation and crap software seem to limit it.

    Hope you find ZeroGain MOre fun/use

    Welcome aboard from another HiFi Choice deserter, though I jumped ship a little while back. But I agree there hasn't been much of interest over on the HFC board for a while.

    That's WHF? (What HiFi?) forum, not HIFI choice ;)

    A large aMOunt of the forum is made up of ppl from Groovehandle - RIP - which was formed when people were getting fed up with Hifichoice.

    Groovehandle passed on too after about a year, and then Mike was good enough to promptly set this up. Carrying on from GH's success and growing on it steadily to what is now to many, regarded as the MOst diverse and interesting hifi forum about!
