    Not really although in directly you could say it was. Its just a boring job creating web pages that disabled people can access using OCR speaking software. Its an HTML/CSS coder basicaly. I got the job because of my ability to work in a team and stick to deadlines rather than code in HTML. Anybody can do HTML these days.

    I think I am going to be treated as the geek though, the personal officer interviewing me was asking personal questions and I could sense the interview was going badly, then the managing director starting asking me technical questions and he seemed impressed.

    Downloaded and ready (kinda) to install.

    Will I lose bookmarks, extensions, and other things from firebird?

    Fast to load and quick render graphics on the Naim site. The Mozilla site was a bit overloaded so I visited the UK mirror and loaded from their without any delays at all. The extention room is snowed under with punters grabbing extentions so I'll wait a couple of days for the couple that intrest me. I saved my bookmarks and they came back with one click of the mouse- so it looks like a good install on XP.

    So, any odds on what they'll call the 0.9 version? :rolleyes:

    Phoenix -> Firebird -> Firefox -> Fire.......?????

    I read their "reasons" for doing it but surely this isn't helping their market penetration and brand recognition.

    Michael.

    INdeed, what the hell happened to Camino, its very hard to keep up with what they are actually trying to achieve, what about Mozilla, why do they keep on with this bohemouth?

    All terribly confusing.

    OSX version still far to buggy, drop down menus don't go away once things are selected, scroll dosn't work on some windows, and they need to sort that preference pane out, in OSX it falls down like a save box, but if you open another window, all sorts of things start going wrong.

    I would tell them but I can't find a feedback button!

    EEEEK!!!

    This has happened three times in a row now.

    Log into www.celticfc.net and then a few seconds later my computer switches off (no warning or anything, just a sudden and complete shut down), and then starts up again.

    The first time it happened windows wanted to send an error report which mentioned something about drivers. But the following two times nothing.

    Not sure if this is Frefox, but that's the only thing that I can think which has changed. The Celtic Site did upgrade a little while back, but it worked fine the last time I looked there (on firebird).

    If anyone wishes to try it, I suggest you make sure you've got anything you may be working on saved first.
