I MOved about a lot as a kid, and stuck my name down on one of my old schools a few years back when having a nose about to see if I could spot anyone I remembered.

    I never contcated anyone as:
    1) I'm lazy, and not that bothered anyhow.
    2) Too tight to pay the £7.50 to upgrade membership to be able to contact people.

I forgot I even had my details on there and then today I recieved an email from someone I've not spoke to for what must be about 12 years. Quite a suprise!

There seems to be quite a few stories of people getting in touch with long lost, old school friend. Anyone here any stories to share?

You soon get fed up with reading about BMWs, Mercs and yachts as well as 'little' places in Provence, Tuscany etc. Let's face it no one ever goes there to tell the world about their daughter's ASBO!

Met up with an old pal from 40 years ago off FRU went out for a pint for old times sake, good to catch up on old times but we were different people from 40 years ago, not a disaster but I won`t be doing it again.

It seems to filter out links and email addresses so when I first put my name and such on there, I went along the lines of, if you'd like, you can contact me at "blah blah AT blah blah DOT com".

The person who has contaced me could have at least have included an email addess though! Would have saved methe fee :)

I sent a reply. Don't really imagine a meet up, but nice to know how she is. It's quite hard to answer a question like "what have you been up to" after 12 years or so.

    Either way, a nice suprise.

I signed up about 4/5 years ago and I don't pay my subs anymore - but I do still keep in touch with a few guys that I wasn't really friendly with at the time...strange huh?
