Grado SR 80's

Mart,

I could be interested - although I was really looking for a pair of SR-60s as going to be driven via my Iriver - but how much do you want for the 80s please ?

Thanks, Mark.

Hi Mark, these have had not a lot of use over the three months I've had them, so theyre probably just run in and not a mark on them.

How does £55 delivered sound to you.

Regards, Mart.

Mart,

Thanks for reply - let me think about it over weekend - really wanted SR-60s - but could go for SR-80s. Only real reason I wanted SR-60s is that I want to power from my Iriver mp3 player - and heard the SR-80s are harder to drive.

Regards, Mark.

Mark

I've used this with a cd personal and on my laptop without problems.

Any set of larger headphones like the grado's etc will take more battery life from a personal device, have you thought of a seperate headphone amp by any chance, you can get battery powered versions of these quite readily.

Regards, Mart

Just to say that I sold my set of SR80s that were rather older than this for more money, so this is a bargain. Great sounding cans.

they are great sounding cans- quite staggering bass extension for their size :D

Thanks guys, these are good sounding cans, lovely midrange and female vocals especially come across beautifully.

I should have been happy with them, but you know all about what happens when that good old upgrade fever hits, so now I got new cans, hmmm, I fancy a cd player next :D
