ground loop

    ok heavymetal
    sound has hum in my tweeter and i think it's from power supply.
    is it possible to reducing it with any tweaks?

    I don't know the answer Amir.
    Maybe mains filters or try Legzr1's idea!

    However, if you are still getting the buzz from the speakers with no cd player, or anything else such as a cassette deck / tuner etc. connected to the amp, then your problem is NOT a ground loop.

    Either you have appallingly bad mains, and the amplifier's power supply cannot filter out the rubbish, or, much more likely, the amplifier is defective in some way.

    Surely hum would be at 50hz and would be coming through the woofer? It shouldnt be possible to hear hum through the tweeter. I still think there may be a problem with the amp.

    Ah, so its not hum its hiss.

    I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong, but I dont think hiss has anything to do with ground loops. Anyone?

    Robbo is right
    a ground loop causes hum not hiss, and a Robbo pointed out, hum wouldnt be aparent thru tweeters

    my friend's amp hiss is very low and if you want to hear it your ears should be near tweeter. but my friend think krell have problem.
