Overview: Installing microphones into large accordion using low cost components.

Critical situation: There is very little space to put anything into this kind of music instrument.

Components selected so far:

Microphones mounted on a narrow smd print, needs 12 V=, has 3 wires total. This choice was made because the output signal does not need screening.

Mixer PCB with 4 inputs, 1 output, 4 potentiometers, analog. Can work with 12 V=.

Headphone amplifier (as monitor and test device), stereo, needs 5 V=.

Intended layout: 4 microphone & 1 mixer on bass side, equivalent on diskant side (melody). Output circuitry for Mono speaker and stereo headphone has not been decided on yet, it is influenced by the mounting possibilities on the instrument. Battery decision is open too.

Test circuit on table. The components work. The signal from the microphone is far too high, can use about 10% of mixers potentiometer range. Shall use divider later.

The feedback is excessive with headphones. I am not sure whether the mixer itself already has feedback ringing. I connected a speaker 10m (30ft) away using a digital link. I can't turn up very loud until feedback begins. To be useful the volume must be much louder.

I could use tips and recommendations related to feedback problems. While experienced with audio, feedback solving know-how is low. I have not measured the frequency range, the whistling is high, my old ears can hear it loud enough.
Component data is in the attached pdf files.
Tks 4 hlp.
