I am totally confused after reading the DBT thread. So is the earth flat or a sphere?

I know .... lets start a poll the majority will decide who is right.

    1. The earth is flat. Those photographs of the earth taken from space was a big hoax. Everyone know the Apollo Mission was a lie. The Americans did not land on the moon. It was a story that was manufactured to pretend they have won the space race with the Russian.

    2. The earth is a sphere. I have seen a movie which showed Christopher Columbus have a hunch that the world was a sphere but those crazy Catholic priests tried to convince everyone the earth was flat because the Bible said so. Since I am a clever and brave person like Columbus we have been proven right now.

Vote quickly since you have only 10 days to decide who is right.

Actually it's not either - The Earth's shape is very close to an oblate spheroid—a rounded shape with a bulge around the equator—although the precise shape (the geoid) varies from this by up to 100 metres (327 ft)

Don't care, but I know it doesn't belong in the HiFi section, so off to chat it goes:D.

Clearly it's both, and more. It's all a matter of perspective.

Interesting result so far. Most eye opening and I like that flying turtle. It look like a real photo... so must be true.

I hope those people who have not vote yet please do so quickly as there is a time limit and once it is up there is nothing I could to about it and what ever the out come will remain as the real truth from now on.
