    Hi all,

I have a mint Krell KAV300i, a beautiful amp in looks and sound. Amp is mint, origional box, manual and remote + some reviews included.

Can be used as an integrated amp \ pre-only or power-only. Will drive almost all speakers unless you're running Apogee 1ohms!

Pre-amp gives a bright sound (not overly harsh though), the power amp section is very neutral and has the legendary Krell FPB sound. Feel the bass!

Will consider swaps or sensible offers. I love trying out new stuff so if you've got something + or - £ or a straight swap let me know! Already noticed some tasty stuff for sale here too.

I'm based in Cheltenham.. Tel 01285 647528 (day) 01242 576895 at other times.

    Thanks, Tim

P.S. if you're not flush enough to afford the Krell but would like a similar sound I also have some Atoll power amps which are powerful, slightly less detailed (smaller soundstage), but 85 to 90% of the Krell (. £400 for 100Watt Per Channel version (full dual mono with two transformers) or £325 for 80Watt Per Channel version (same sort of sound but slightly less power), one transfomer instead of two but otherwise duel mono. Happy to Part Exchange.... AM100 happily drives my Mirage M1's
    http://miragespeakers.com/manuals.shtml (check 'em out!!)
Both 1 year old. Boxed, mint with manuals.

    :)

Hmmm, probably looking for around £1.1k (roughly what I paid for it v. recently).

    Are you interested?

    Cheers, Tim

    Krell is now sold...

I'll be getting some Audio Analogue stuff in probably next week. Donizetti monoblocks and Bellini pre-amp. New from this year. Let me know if you're interested.

Atolls still available. Although I suspect that as per usual I'll never sell anything through this forum!

    Thanks, Tim

Tim - you seem to have a lot of kit for sale, are you a dealer of some kind? If so you should let people know and, this forum isn't to be used as a form of free advertising for dealers, it's strictly for private sales between individuals. Apologies if I've got the wrong end of the stick.

    Michael.

    Nope not at all,

Just clearing out a fair bit of stuff to reduce my overdraft!

"Apologies if I've got the wrong end of the stick."
    No probs!

This is just the way I try out new hifi, much cheaper than going through shops. Just a hobby.
