    you could get some Epos ES30's very cheap these days, amazingly clean accurate and open midband and great bass depth.

    JBL 250TI Jubilee with 14" bass driver, tall lovely in piano black. Can compete amonst the best and can be had just over £1k from Germany. Well worth every penny as I owned a pair and wish never sold them.:(

    Get a pair of used JBL SR or MR series speakers from ebay. around GBP300-500. Horn loaded. 100bd/w. You get to hear everything from 1 to 200 Watts.

    Have some Pioneer HPM 1100's good to fair cosmetically 100% grills excellent working 15" bass units and 3 other units in each speaker £130
