This is a 3-head, very high quality tape deck. It's had light use since I bought it and now has no use at all, as my new amp doesn't have tape outputs. Haven't got the original box, I'm afraid, but it will be very well packed. I'm looking for £250 ono, including p+p.

Be brutally honest, chaps - am I kidding myself by asking for £250? I've seen a couple of DR2s at around this price in trade ads, so that's what I used as a benchmark.

I've got a lovely Sony deck I tried to sell for 18 months for 50 quid. Dobly S, three heads....There's no money in tapes I don't think. I've kept it.

Well you di ask a question so i have to say I ended up selling a mint condition, boxed, remote control, etc, etc, Teac cassette deck and a hundreds of Pre-recorded cassette tapes for about £50 around about 18 months to 2 yeras ago.
It had been in my loft unsued for about 4 years before that anyway.

Nostalgia value only in cassettes really these days, imho. Fiddling about with all of the settings ,etc used to keep me happily occupied for hours about 15 years ago , but you can fiddle and meddle to your hearts content with modern computer CD-R sound editing software these days....

Good luck, top brands such as Nakamichi will always command a little more premium though as their excellent reputation precedes them , good luck..
