I'll have to rig up some 'note-hangers'. Metal or plastic?

I would have thought a combination of metal and glass which would then have to be tuned to catch the particular note you are after.

Other than 'bollox', could it be that 'hanging notes' are actually sound echoes? Everything that sounds has a degree of echo in it including a duck's quack, and it's proven already it was no 'bollox'
