ordered a new camera from them yesterday, they said it was in stock and i paid extra to have it delivered this morning as i wanted it for the weekend. as sods law would have it they royally bollocksed my order and it now won;t be delivered until monday. needless to say i'd recommend steering clear of the shoddy wankers. at least they say they'll refund the delivery.
cheers

yeah, I've never used them before - but I did buy a cheap table top tripod from ebay (2 quid) - and they are selling them for about 12 quid....

I bought a Canon Powershot S50 digital camera from them last year and the bloody thing arrived with a French instruction manual

I had to download the English version from the Canon website.

Pixmania did offer the cheapest price though!

I bought a panasonic digicam in January from them. No problem with delivery, and they did say it was only with a French manual [for UK, download as Snoopdog states]

They do pester you with spam, but no more than other big on line retailers.

yeah the tracking stuff has only just shown up - it's comming from france. why advertise next day delivery when it's extremely unlikely that it'll happen. i suppose they count on people not calling them on it and making 20 quid for nothing. they were cheap (not quite the cheapest) but they were doing a decent package with a 512mB card and a case which was good and of course were advertising next day delivery.
must say i'm a bit dischuffed with them at present.
cheers

I got a camera from them last year, ordered it on Thursday afternoon and it arrived Friday Lunchtime. Only difference from UK shop was that the cable for the charger had a euro plug on it, but they also supplied an adapter plug. manuals were in every language.

You can get lucky or unlucky with any internet shop

Same here. Had a few things from them, delivered on time, and the difference in cost was worth any minor niggles about manuals etc.

We ordered a cooker hood on line 2 weeks ago, wondering where it was I went to the the relevant website to find they had gone out of business.

Doh!
