    Hiya.
We're off to France next week and with the prospect of 10/12 hours on the road i need to get hold of a twin-screen in car/portable DVD sys (not and install) to keep the kids entertained.

Knowing how errudite and gadget-informed most of you lot are I wondered if anyone can recommend (or steer me away from) such a system they have tried...?

I'm not looking to spend much cash, but equally dont want it to break...

    Any thoughts? Thanks muchly.

I have no experience of this but its made by Philips and everything I have had which is made by this company has always been produced to the highest of standards including my freeview box and TV.

There is this which has an car adaptor but I have not had as good experiences with Hitachi in general.

If you're a real cheap stake get this :)

Though I think this is actually negative value for money.

Good prices on RS. Trouble is I need a twin screen combo where I can mount the two screens on the rear of the front seat headrests.

I guess two separate portables might make more sense for use outside the car, but I need to keep four kids happy in the car so one film across two screens with speakers (so all four can watch) rather than two separate films watched individually with headphones would be preferable.

    Cheers
