Progress on the new Audiosmile loudspeaker

i'd be happy with that too.... maybe they could do 3 models.

basic passive.
preset active. (blameless amps set with a textbook setting for the crossover.)
deluxe active for custom users who want to make multi channel or dsp run set ups with amps of their choice.
 
Simon/Rob - just been reading a related thread on t Wam - running 30.1 here (here being about another hour and a half west from Martin) - you are welcome to come and play, sorry, do some cabinet analysis if it would be useful.
 
Sorry, I was in Croatia until mid week. I've got to catch up on real orders before working on prototypes! It will progress, just be patient :)
 
Lots to read there!

This speaker is mostly finished. The remaining area for attention is that the current bass driver doesn't go low enough for our liking so a new ScanSpeak unit is sitting on the shelf ready to try out. Other things have simply been at higher priority recently. - Look out for a new supertweeter design coming out before xmas!
 
The mid-range aluminium dome tweeters on my Quarts are about the size of a Terry's Chocolate Orange.
