    Folks.
Not quite sure where to put this so feel free to mover the thread to a more appropriate place.

I currently own a rotel RCD991 cd player which i am happy with, however i am thinking of trying something different.
I am considering going for seperate transport and DAC, however i am not sure which ones.

The rotel is a superb CD player in mint condition, with ability to play HDCD (i only own one so i know it works) and is a fine looking and performing player. It was well reviewed and was expensive when new, still holding its value well today.
I have the original box, complete with original packaging, manual power cord and remote.

Has anyone recently upgraded their system and has a good DAC and transport hiding away (any models considered). It would be even better if that person was also in the market for a RCD991.

If not, i may have to sell seperately and purchase elsewhere.

    Thanks
    John

It won't help you in your quest. But I too have an RCD991. I've had it coming up for 9 years and the more time passes the more respect I have for it. I have no intention of replacing it unless it becomes unrepairable.

Might be better to put it in the classifieds tbh.
