part of my clear out. really dont want to sell these but decided to have just one pair of more expensive speakers rather than 4 pairs of ones that i keep swapping around! too much work to do in our new house and not enough time to play.

anyway, these are in fantastic walnut finish, i have aslo had stainless steel 10mm spikes made up for them and fancy gold Royd badges to finish them off. gold pated binding posts etc, cabinets and drivers are in very good condition, grilles are of the earlier type that hold on with velcro. new velcro pads just fitted .

photos speak for themselves. last pair of these in this finish went on ebay for £335!!

mine are available for £225... which i think is far more realistic, and given the condition of the finish, the little fancy bits i have added - these are far more desirable. photos tomorrow as ive left me camera lead at work!

the downsides... a bit of foam around one of the tweeter has been pulled away by the previous owner trying to clumsily stick the grilles on (dope!), royds seem to work very well with grilles in place and these are no different so you wouldnt see it. secondly.. the veneer at the top of the baffle of one of the speaker seems to sit higher than the other (see pic). dunno how that happenned but unless you sat them right next to each other you wouldnt notice.

nothing more to say except brilliant speakers that i have come back to 3 times now, i genuinely think they are great speakers, they are 90dB & 8 ohm so can be driven by well anything really, great timing, nice bass and the time aligned baffle throws the sound around fantastically making imaging superb.
