Just checked one of my email accounts for the firs ttime in a couple of weeks. It's the one connected to my paypal. I've a blank email from [email protected]

I'm used to recieving fake emails, but this seems to be legit apart from the fact there's no content to it.

    Thoughts?

how is it legit? I can write a PHP script which will send that in about 2 minutes. You can make any crap up in the FROM header.

It is surprisingly very very easy to do, but in the header is also the senders IP address so depending on your email client you can easily spot its fake by tracing the IP.

These pishing scams are getting more and more clever, I had exactly the same thing from paypal a few weeks back although with a message, of course it was a total fake.
