SB Touch and active speakers

Meant to say without spending money on new kit (SB aside)

I'm happy enough with the monitor audio/cyrus sound, amp in a cupboard and cables under floor would do the job if the SB pre is up to the job. We tend to listen with the volume lower in that room though

I like the idea of a squeezebox feeding a hidden power amp/s. My ideal being just a pair of speakers and a squeezebox in view.

A single remote that controls content and volume would be great too.

Look hard for the Squeezebox Classic in front of the TV

On the sofa extreme right of the picture you can half see the Squeezebox Remote, the TV Remote and a wireless mouse to control BBC iPlayer. A keyboard can just be seen resting across the arms of both sofas. It is rarely used and is usually out of sight.
