I am relisting these because of an upcoming move. My OBs will definitely not fit in our new, smaller home.

These are legendary field coil drivers. If you don't know what that is, you might want to do some research. Great for a single driver two way or even three way DIY project.

I have them in JE Labs Open Baffles and they sound incredible. The bass is surprising in this setup, but I'm sure they'd sound even better in a two way configuration with woofers below 80Hz, or subwoofers. I am the second owner.

When I removed them from the baffles I accidentally put a screwdriver through one of the cones. Doh!!!! It made a clean cut and I've repaired it with a minimal amount of craft glue as you can see in the pic. I cannot hear the difference.

If you would like them reconed, I've already checked with Supravox in France and the cost is 110Euro each, which I can arrange if you like. I could send them to them for reconing and have them send them directly to you.

The field coils are in great shape and are amazing for detail, presence and imaging!

If you can pick up and you're interested in the unfinished OBs I've been using, you can have them too.

Specifications at http://www.supravox.fr/anglais/haut_...5_2000_EXC.htm. Retail on these is

£750 as is, or £950 reconed and shipped to you from Supravox factory

    Thanks for looking!
