    It is totaly correct advice, no music at all for around 1 month, then they come on song:)

    Oh good news then; no music for a month! :p

    Surely they wont be worse than the 12p each resistors? If they are that bad to begin with though I might put them on the DAC's second output that goes to my other amp and speakers.

    they are bad for quite q while, but well worth the weight. I have also been told caddock resistors are very good, but yet to try them
    Your idea of running them on a second output will probably have some mileage.
