Will like to get a pair of Tannoy 3LZ speakers to go with my Leak Stereo 20.

On the other hand I wouldn't mind trying some LS3/5a speakers out. I'm trying to sell a pair of Linn Kans, be nice if I can do a trade swap with the kans for an LS3/5a or Tannoy 3LZ. I'm really dying to hear either of these speakers.

    Thank you,

    Shane.

Apart from the Tannoy 3LZ speakers, I will consider the Tannoy Eatons.

Please let me know if you do have either of these Tannoy speakers to sell.

    Thank you,

    Shane.

Shame you weren't looking last week on ebay; two separate pairs of Eatons went for less than £300 :(.

You ought to add Devons to your list of possibilities of small vintage Tannoys as well, as although they have 12" drivers they're not much bigger than 3LZ's.

    Don't remind me:mad:

Devons would be a little to big for my bedroom.

Does the Eatons sound better than the 3LZ?

I've not heard either 3LZ's or Eatons, though I have owned 3 other pairs of 10" Tannoys :D. A friend of mine has though, and he rates the Eatons very highly but didn't like the 3LZ's much, and he's as much of a Tannoy nut as me. I think the 3LZ cabs don't do the drivers any favours.

    BTW....

    3LZ cabs: 23" x 15" x 10 5/8"
    Devon cabs: 23 1/4" x 15 3/4" x 10 1/4"

    Not much in it ;).
