    The cabinet on these speakers is very impressive and l suspect thats where a lot of the cost is. DIY appeals but my lack of skills means it's not really an option for me.

    Ah well just a thought.
    The internal matrix is actually very easy to make-just a set of repeatable shelves lap jointed onto a spine but...
    I'm no cabinet maker either, in fact my hands behave like they're feet:D but I managed very good copies of the 215 DMT monitors by paying extra care and attention to what I was doing.
