I feel mean and I have had lots of enjoyment from this site so I think I will be able to find £5.

Again I like the others I will need details about how to pay, paypal will be easier but I do have a cheque book if not.

I've been here for two years now, 2.5 years if you count GH, so I will donate.

Edit so thats £65 now :)

Count me in for 7,52536 euros if you accept frog money (let's say 8 to take care of costs)

PM me to let me know if I can send a cheque in euros and where to send it, otherwise I can put a fiver in an envelope and mail it.

i'll stump up a fiver as well. I have been a regular since the start. I have had many a good time on the forum and have met many good people through it.

    Well worth a fiver.

    Whoa and whoa....

I feel very humbled by the response to this. Between you all you've pledged quite a bit over the £82 that I spent on the license this evening, and very quickly indeed. By my calculation there's £95 in pledges.

Given the excess I'm not sure what to do.... Either you can all send £4.30 instead, or we can do one of the things suggested before when we discussed this. Alternatively I'll put the excess down as a "moderator's beer fund" to reward the time that is put in by these fine gentlemen. Suggestions welcome.

A very big thank you to everyone who has decided to contribute. I will send a pm with payment details.

heck that all happened so quick, but not only do you have the licence to pay for surely you have bandwidth and domain space to fund?
If I'd seen this post earlier I'd put my name down, if you need any more funds you know how to PM me, Great work, keep the ZG going.

This is one of the best forums on the net and is one of the most relaible ones, £5 is a very small price to pay for it not to become commercialised. Micheal and Jools deserve the credit for starting this thing off but you and the new team have also done a bloody brilliant job of running it.

You should be proud and in my opinion you should spend the excess on beer, you deserve it :)

I certainly think Telkman has earned a few with all his hard work behind the scenes.

On the hosting question we're looking at what to do. We'll see what's required on that in time...

To be honest I feel it would be wiser to put the excess in a fund for when ZG next needs it. Not against the beer idea though!

to be honest it was nothing to do with me at the start - michael deserves the credit for starting it with an honorable mention to joel for groovehandle. i'm just a moderator. isaac and telkman certainly deserve props for taking over when they did too...
    cheers

Kudos to Joel for Groovehandle too.

Take the excess funds and piss it up a wall - go on, live it up on those excess millions (old Turkish Lira).

If whoever is organising the fund can send me details of the bank account for a funds transfer, I'll happily donate £5.

Bear in mind that this forum managed to save me roughly £2500 by suggesting the use of a NOS DAC instead of leaving me to stew and save for a CDX2, £5 seems excellent value.

I'm happy for my extra 70p to buy half a beer.
PM the bank number and sort code and I'll transfer it today.
