If a change away from studio accuracy means you get a greater level of enjoyment from 90% of your music - at the expense of the best recorded 10% sounding less than their best - thats a compromise I personally think is worthwhile.
The alternative seems to be a rack full of CD's and LPs recorded by little known artists specifically for hifi companies :yikes:
