Time for a new MTB thread

    Mines a beast ! £200 Trek jobbie, with full length mudguards and puncture proof tyres !

    I spent nearly as much on the locks as I did the bike.

    Gets ridden to and from work most days (4.5 miles x 2)

    Would like something with better brakes and bearings, but as it gets left outside, all day and all night its hardly woth it.

    The trailrakers are unbeatable in the mud I've found, but they're definitely not an all purpose tyre. Fire XCs are pretty good all rounders, but I'm tempted to give Continental Vertical ProTection 2.3 a go...

    If it's muddy I use the road bike.

    The MTB hasn't been out all year..
