    Indeed!

I've only had 10 driving lessons and have come across this a few times already. The worst was on a roundabout a girl pushing her pram out infront of her while holding her MObile to her ear with the other hand, completely oblivious to traffic!

Without wishing to state the obvious anything from a Plastic pig {Reliant robin}to a 40 ton truck in the wrong hands is dangerious
driving very fast is fine .........inapropriate speed is the killer

Its the Corsa driving chav types with big wheels and egos that are the danger.
Raise the driving age to 21, Zero alcohol limit and Insurance
disc in the windscreen.......that would do wonders for the accident rate
Peter wheeler did indeed sell the company a year or so ago
he almost single handed turned TVR around from a percieved kit car with a Rover V8 into a modern reliable useable supercar
Its a real bloody shame. design flair and style replaced by boring
sterile BMW's and souped up Jap crap :(

Well that Just leaves Morgan and Marcos

    A sad day for petrolheads

Although I admit I know a lot of young drivers who had crashes (not all of them their fault) I also know a lot of pensioners who have had smashed as well.

Insurance is already well above £1000 for a 1.1 litre car but more under 21s and raising it any further will just mean and more and more people will drive without any insurance.

Pricing young drivers off the road is not the answer, although I am sort of favour of raising the test age to 21 I think it would have major economic problems. 18 would be a better age.

I also think there should be more punishment for people cought speeding in urban areas.

With the young it is a matter of rewarding the good driving more and punishing the bad.

Insurance has always been high for young drivers. I dont see a problem with it.

I support high insurance for young drivers and annual retests for all over the age of 75.

From my experience, youngsters now go on their parents Insurance policies,or just don't bloody bother,If they have an accident what do they get ,slapped wrist and a few hours community service, a driving licence is a privilage not a right

I will agree 20mph near schools and if you get caught speeding
    3 month ban simple..........
clearly visable insurance disc in the window ......no disc = ban

If you raise the price of driving you will simply get less drivers, not more sensible ones.

If you want to make people drive more carefully you need to punish them for not doing so. I mean seriously punishing them.

A few days ago I saw a chav screech round the corner of a one way street and speed up it the wrong way. When he got funny looks from people he just had a look on his face like 'what do I care?!'. I think he should be put in prison for a few years, especially since it was very near a primary school.

Even better, give them a good beating! I want to see that thing where you clamp people in the middle of town and then the public can kick them up the arse and throw tomatoes at them lol!

But I want a 'Gentlemans Carriage' cos like I am a 'Gentleman'
The Blenheim is for going to the supermarket then I'd need a Speedster for sunny days and the Fighter for when I feel like going at 200+ mph.

I think I've just spent all my winnings.

i don't like the term . I think the use of it is lazy and I think it's offensive.

chav - is used mostly to describe the white working class poorly educated that people may not like the look of or find , somehow, low rent.

Rooney - chav - unquestionably fits your description. Whether it is offensive is what's debatable.

You'll all hate my for this, but what the hey...

Whilst the poor kid was innocent, you could claim it's Darwinism by proxy; if the mother was too stupid to not take due care and attention whilst pushing the pram, perhaps this was Guya telling her she shouldn't breed... That said, the sheer number of pram wielders who don't even look where they're pushing the things is shocking; you'd have thought someone would take more care of their little precious.

No excuse whatsoever for the Capri driver though (hope it wasn't a Mk1 though). That's pure dangerous driving - not big or clever.

As for driving while drunk - all in favour of a lifetime ban for a first offence. Zero alcohol policy seems a good idea too, as does windscreen insurance disc. ANY car caught without paperwork gets crushed - end of story.

Damn right a driving licence is a privelige, not a right. Anyone with normal eyesight who abuses that privelige doesn't deserve to drive.
