    Hi,

Yes, David Vivian did a feature in beautifull Systems, ours was around £ 11K or so overall.

He had the Hyperion Sound HPS-938 Speakers (sorta Watt/Puppy style, quite nice for a convenional speaker at £ 3.5K), a pair of my "extreme" 3D Sonics modified Shanling monoblocks, a Music First Audio Passive Magnetic Preamp and a standard 3D Acoustics (though he described it inaccuratly as 3 Sonics) by Shanling SACD player.

Alltogether quite a nice setup considering cost, if I'm allowed to say so.... ;-)

I hope you enjoyed the time...

    Hi,

They are prototypes of the 3D Acoustics Transparence, a nice picture of the production units here:

They are my own design, some "bumpf" here:

    Hi,

At the moment very few Dealers have them. If you are in Londra, drop by I'm in Edmonton.

At this stage - no. I am slowly working on a LCR equalised valve phonostage that will be (if) released under the Music First Audio Brand, to complement the passive preamp and the MC Stepup.

    Hi,

I have owned a Border Patrol amp since the late 90s. First a prototype, then a full production version. It is a nice looker and even better sounding.

Fen Dancer - that message has 'duplication not permitted' written across the bottom.

It may cause the forum problems to have it posted here. If its not yours could you delete?

    Hi,

They are called Top-Caps. These are standard for anode connections on many transmitter valves. In this case, just pull them off and stick your pinkey in there, switch on and you have a cool 950V at >300mA flowing. Quite dangerous, definitly not amp's for those with small children....
