Wm's own silver disc spinner is now on the market, its 1997 vintage, have orginal paper work and boxes, UK spec. No digitals in or outputs. Metal remote
This is one extremely musical player, with an involvement factor that just makes you listen and not what to move.
Serious modifications have been preformed to this unit, I won't list it, just PM for details.
How does it sound?, when driven direct, its a powerful, yet delicate, free flowing and natural sounding, great groove and superb timing, totally grain free and open, and staging that wadia's cannot normally achieve.
A real presence and texture enfuses the overall sound with a body that only seriously good TT produce.
Does it do a 'live feel sound?, its about as 'in the basement" as you can get.
Bass as only wadia can do and then some, extemely tight, dynamic, rythymic and oh so right, with thwack to smile for :)
How does it sound against other players?, totally destroys an Wadia 861, and easily beats an 861se, the AA capital, Sim Eclipse, etc.
The Burmester 001 was close, but only in the mid-band.
Unit is in very good condition, have the feet and the discs.
Offers invited, reason for availablity, I've have a new beastie, though I'm happy to put it in the bedroom system if not sold.
I thought maybe one of you guys may like it. Wm

    A/V,
I'm afraid there is a que in front of you sir.
To be honest the 100's sounded almost passable with it strapped on them, they even did a smattering of bass too
I'd try an Audio Aero capital, that really suits the Atc's down to the ground, be a prefect match for the mid band :)
