Firstly....hello all:)

I am interested in looking into the purchase of a pair of good quality interconnects, the purchase will need to be a second hand deal due to fairly limited funds. I`m not that bothered about the manufacturer as long as they`re pretty good quality, open, neutral sounding and reasonable value for money. I like a nice wide soundstage with a good depth of sound. I`ve been lead to believe that Chord chorus, Ecosse meastro and Van de hul ultimate are quite popular and respected and aren`t ridiculously expensive on the used market.
Currently using an old Cambridge audio i/c which I feel is stifling my system.
Thanks

Try PM ing Forum Member "Zanash", he has some great DIY Cable Designs, if you ask he nicely he may even make one up for you. They are also pretty cheap, and perform way above there price to construct.
Follow this link on the forum, and have a little read of the reviews that other forum members have posted on his silver/Gold Cables, and all being well, say yourself a wad !

Zanash's silver/gold interconnects are outstanding. And when you factor the price in they are amazing.

I have done a back to back with the chord chorus as a balanced cable and chord chameleon / CPT Acoustics RCA cables and Zanash beat both sets.

impressive apraisel....zanesh`s au/ug seems to be the way to go then?
Anyone else tried and been impressed by them?

(Zanesh Pm on the way;) )

Thanks

yeah, I can vouch for them and the professionalism of the bloke

The silver cable is superb value for money - but when you hear the AU/AG you will go for the later even though it costs more it offers, in my opinion, even better value for money.
