You know when you've been 103'd new phono stage issue

    If you get a half decent one, earth the tonearm cable, at the transformer and earth the transformer to the preamp, locate it carefully, it should be fine.
    Some are nickel double screened, too.

    Hey AK,

    I did think about going for the PSU1 but in the end, I was swayed by the extra flexibiltiy of the Dino. When the time comes to upgrade I shall certainly investigate the Era Gold (maybe even with the Elevator step up :eek: ) as I 've heard great things about it.

    I had a dino a while ago, if you get a era and an elevator, you can have mm or mc.

    era is definately superior to the dino, era is the best chip phono I have yet heard, dino wasn't
