You haven't lived until you've tried the District. Is there a slower line anywhere?

Yes; the Merseyrail underground link between Birkenhead and Liverpool, run by non-Arriva trains. Time actually goes into reverse on that line.

Nick, how did you get to higher than 4,000 m without climbing? I don't mean mountain climbing, but how did you reach the altitude?

You humans and your antiquated modes of transportation, its so depressing to see. (There is no subsistute for thought partical transference). Your spieces development plan seems to have veered off coarse a little in the last eon or so
Could you possible bring back on track, would help matters on the grand scheme of things. Ta muchly

TPT (Thought partical transference) has its place, when needing quicker transport times or reaching otherwise unacessible areas, but using the bodies physical properties to tansfer IE walking has a more pleasant feel.
It also helps in keeping the body tiptop.

Well the town was at 3500m - we walked up to 4500m over the course of 11km.

Never had any problems with the trains here myself, used to use that line every day for years, the scaliies however that hung around were another issue...

I'm no longer a regular user of that line. I used it everday from age 11 to age 19 (when it was Britsh Rail and quite reliable), then periodically for a few years. Last time I used it (about 4 years ago) it was slower than a tortoise being pulled along by a snail.
