I use Mana stands under everything. I find that the stands do have an effect on the perceived frequency .

I can say that I used to have a Mana Reference Table, and still own an (unused) custom amp stand. Both IMO did change the tonal balance compared to other stands (not current commercial products).

Mana's effect on tonal balance is very obvious to those who hear it

Any more you would like Bub?

Now please stop this typical diversionary nonsense and name calling and accept facts for a change.

Alex S is a lovable eccentric, and great fun, dcathro is a serial troll, and Markus is very ill.

I have already disproved your theory, to my satisfaction, at least.

I think you offered to disprove it to others as well. That's the done thing for general acceptance.

Yes Yes. I'd be delighted to one day and thank you for the kind offer. Now can we get back to the subject please?

I am not a troll.

I happen to disagree with you, as do others on this particular point.

If that is your definition of a troll, then that would be cause for concern.

I will believe you when you produce the evidence you promised all that time ago.

Ques que Ces?

Mr S. Mic

You are obviously trolling because you are attempting to exasperate me with your repeated calls for me to disprove your loopy theory.

It's amusing, up to a point, but I will not become exasperated by you, because I know that that is what you want. You are looking for an annoyed reaction; you won't get one.

I will repeat, once more: You cannot prove a negative. What part of that statement is difficult for you?

how else do you explain the subjective tonal shifts referred to by a number of Mana users on this forum?
According to your and Anex's theory they must be using turntables that are teetering on the verge of uncontrollable feedback.

That was simple.

Paul

I am merely waiting for a satisfactory response to this glib response from your good self earlier

What absolute nonsense: no hi-fi stand could ever possibly alter the tonal balance.

It's very easy to disprove, BTW.

If you cannot do as you claimed, which is to dis-prove a positive, then please just accept that and we can all move on.

Paul, I do not have a theory, I have a conclusion based on a great deal of subjective listening. Anex has the theory, no doubt based on his degree work at university. What is it that you base your stance on?

Have we covered this point?

Paul, I do not have a theory, I have a conclusion based on a great deal of subjective listening.
Subjective: inadmissable m'lud.

Try again.

All of your findings re Mana are subjective are they not Bub?

The Devil said:

Not to my satisfaction, nor I suspect to many others

I've an open question to all that attended: Why have visitors to Bub's recent nerdathon (or anyone whom has visited) not been moved to go the Mana route?

A difference between on and off will provide the neccessary evidence. By itself, your test is meaningless in the context of this discussion.
