So you compare the sound with and without the 10b in circuit and switched to bypass. You notice considerable increases in grain with it in circuit. Please do explain how that is caused by something else in the system.

dont get me started on beringer, lets see theres the ultracurve that would throw up an error message (and mute the outputs) if there was even a 0.000001 degree change in tempreture, the beringer digatal desk that would lock up under certain key presses (adding or changing the level of fx's to an aux out) or the graphic that put a warbling tone thorugh the pa when bypassed,i did at one time like and use a fair bit of beringer gear however after many nasty embarising failures ive decided its not worth the risk, well apart from a few noise gates/compressors and di boxes im being forced to use at the moment, however i'll be suprisd if they survive to the end of the shows run

    Hi,

Not sure about the others, but I had both the DEQ 8024 and the DEQ 2496 and had no hitches.

    Ciao T

Hmm my room gets pretty damn hot sometimes and I have had no trouble with the DEQ2496.

I have yet to find a file that tells Cubase SX (3) how to control the DEQ2496 via midi though. Can anyone help there?

    Hi,

Sorry, can't. BUT, you have a computer with MiDi? Any chance I can get you to update the firmware in my DEQ some time?

    Ciao T
