advice on speaker stands needed

For any 905 owners, have you found yourselves desiring a subwoofer too, or do they dig deep enough on their own?

jm lab quote 54hz , but paul messenger reckoned he measured them at 40hz .
I,ve moved to a smaller room than before and have been seriously thinking of getting rid of my mja ref1 .
i had been using it set at the absolute min gain , which quite frankly is a waste of a sub at the levels i can play at .
i,ve done a bit of changing about and am getting more out of the sub but i,m still not 100% convinced that i need it .
